About the Blog

This is my contribution to the modesty discussion. I started posting June of 2010. If you would like to know about me and why I started CanadianUndercover read the Bio. I can be emailed at Canadianundercover(at)shaw.ca

Blog entries are being schedule for Monday mornings. I’ll do my best to keep to said schedule. We all like something reliable. December and April will likely be exceptions as these are exam months.

Book reviews/discussions will be posted in addition to regular Monday entries. If there is a book you’d like to see discussed please comment. These entries will be approximately once a month, during the school year you’ll have to be more patient (or suggest smaller books).

I will be sharing my experiences with covering up and sharing my opinions about modesty in general. My life may be unique but this is not the only blog or modesty source out there. I will do my best to highlight information I find relevent to CanadianUndercover. If you see something you like my readers would be interested in, send me an email and I’ll add it to the Links page.

I will gladly write entries based on your suggestions. Send me an email or post a comment.

We have a fan page on Facebook. Spread the word and let the world know about Canadian Undercover.

Very interesting site! I like your tone. The vast majority of my experience with covering is with Muslims and with the more conservative part of my (Mennonite) church. So it took me a bit by surprise when you said you were Orthodox, but of course, why not? I’m very interested in what a Canadian Christian who chooses to cover (and who was not born on a farm in St. Jacobs). I know women raised Christian who became Muslims and chose to veil, or, of course, Amish women. But a sassy facially pierced Canadian who chooses to cover as a Christian is *very* interesting. Could you please write a post about that? Also, since you weren’t covering when you got married, what does/did your husband think of the change? Ha – that sounds more like a sex change 🙂
